LITTLE Mix’s Jade Thirlwall has delighted fans with a huge update on her solo career.
The singer, who has drastically changed her image, revealed the release date of her brand-new single.
She shared the album cover on Instagram, which sees her sat on the floor in a light blue dress with angel wings.
Jade, 31, told fans that Angel Of My Dreams was available to buy from July 19.
The update went down a treat, with followers sharing their excitement in the comment section.
“Let’s go angel girlllll,” one wrote, while a second added: “SHE IS COMING”.
“AHHHH JADE!!! finallyyyy this is gonna be epic!!!” chimed a third.
Following in the footsteps of Madonna, Cher and Beyonce – Jade has ditched her surname.
Going just by ‘Jade’, the former girl band star has bleached her eyebrows and embraced a more gothic look.
In one TikTok video she lip-synced to her new song, wearing a black leather skirt and fishnet tights.
She teamed it with an off-the-shoulder long-sleeved top with tiny diamontes dotted across.
Her brand new single is said to “explore her love/hate relationship with the pop industry”.
“What I’m going for is a pop punch to the face. I want people to be like ‘oh my god, I didn’t expect that’ – but then want to listen to it again,” she explained.
“I didn’t want to do a safe first single, that was really important to me,” she continued.
“I’m setting the tone of who I am as an artist on my own. I want people to hear it and be like ‘what the f*** is that song?’. My worst nightmare is for someone to hear my song and go ‘that’s nice’.”
Jade said that her album is “OTT”, “ridiculous” and “gloriously WTF”.
Jade was thrust into the limelight following her success in Little Mix – a band formed by Simon Cowell on the X Factor in 2011.
The girl band was originally made up of Jade, Perrie Edwards, 30, Leigh-Anne, 32, and Jesy Nelson, 33.
Jesy left the band after struggling with her mental health and the pressures of fame.
Just over 10 years after forming, the girls announced their hiatus to focus on their solo careers and families.
Jade has since collaborated with MNEK, Cirkut, Lostboy, RAYE, Lauren Aquilina and Dave Hamelin.
All the Little Mix singers have branched out to release solo music.
Leigh-Anne was the first to release new music by herself, with multiple singles now out including My Love, Stealin’ Love and Don’t Say Love.
Perrie admitted it was hard branching out on her own, she previously told Sian Welby: “I’m still subconsciously like, ‘Jade, Leigh-Anne…where are you?’ It’s really bizarre, but it is exciting. Like, it’s exciting that we’re all doing our thing and, like, loving each other doing our thing.
“You know, you never know what the future holds, and I just I do miss them a lot. So this is random for me.”
