Niall Horan named one of Britain’s top 10 richest celebrities under 30 – despite former One Direction star being Irish

FORMER One Direction singer Niall Horan has made the top 10 of Britain’s wealthiest young stars.

The Mullingar native ranked as the seventh richest UK celebrity under 30 with an impressive £46million (€51m) value despite being a proud Irishman.

The 25-year-old managed to beat former band mates Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik in Heat’s 2018 rich list.

Someone Like You singer Adele retained her crown as Britain’s richest young celebrity for the third year in a row after she knocked One Direction off the top spot in 2016.

The 30-year-old increased her staggering fortune from £132m (€148m) last year to a whopping £147.5m (€165.5m) after generating £9m (€10.10m) from record sales alone as well as a massive £42m (€47.1m) from her world tour.

Shape of You hitmaker Ed Sheeran has jumped to the second spot with a value of £94m (€105.4) while Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe ranked third with £87m (€97.6m).

Beating Niall at number four and the richest former One Direction member is Harry Styles, 24, with £58m (€65.1m).

The singer is set to pocket a cool £20m (€22m) for his post-1D projects, including his £1m-selling album, a role in blockbuster Dunkirk and a prestigious Gucci campaign.

Another member from the hugely successful Harry Potter franchise is Emma Watson who ranked in fifth place with £55m (€61.7m).

The actress earned an up-front fee of £2m (€2.2m) for her role in Beauty and the Beast as well as a share of the profits believed to be £10m (€11.2m).

Little Mix storm up the top ten from tenth to sixth place this year. In 2017 Glory Days was one of the year’s biggest-selling albums, while their concerts grossed £31m (€34.7m).

Then there’s the endorsements, ranging from COLAB Dry Shampoo to Little Mix fashion dolls.

Other familiar faces in the Top 30 under 30 UK rich list include model Cara Delevigne who ranked in 14th place with £18m (€20.2m), funnyman Jack Whitehall at 19 with £8.5m (€9.5m) and new entry at number 30 is Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews (£4.5m) who recently tied the knot with Dublin model Vogue Williams.
