FROM Ellie Goulding to Frankie Bridge, and even to one of the current Love Islanders, Dougie Poynter has had his fair share of beautiful girlfriends.
But the McFly bassist will be hoping his latest squeeze is The One after coupling up with model Maddy Elmer.
He was photographed kissing the brunette in London on Monday. And their relationship is going so well he whisked her off on holiday to California last month.
A source said: “Dougie and Maddy have known each other for a while and properly hit it off at the end of last year.
“He’s had some downtime over the past few months and they’ve grown close.
“Dougie took her on holiday at the end of April and the beginning of May and she was introduced to his McBusted bandmate James Bourne.
“He has a tight-knit circle of friends, so welcoming Maddy into that means a lot. Dougie wouldn’t do that unless he was serious about her. It is his longest relationship since he was with Ellie and he’s in a really good place.”
The music lothario and Ellie split in 2016 after dating for a couple of years. He later had short-lived romances with models Immy Waterhouse and Kara Rose Marshall.
Surfer Lucie Donlan, who entered the Love Island villa on Monday, also claims to have had a fling with the rocker. Maddy is signed to Storm Management, which also looks after Abbey Clancy, Lily Cole, Cindy Crawford and Dougie himself.
She was spotted by the agency dancing at Latitude Festival in Suffolk.
With McFly planning to get back together, perhaps he will end up on the line-up for the festival next year.
Then she might get lucky there once again.

Mix: We dabble a little in property
SINGERS who made millions in groups like Westlife and Blue have gone bankrupt in the past after their careers dried up.
And after seeing how their predecessors have fared, Little Mix have become financial experts and wisely invested their earnings in property.
Last week it was revealed Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock each made £1.65million last year just from touring.
But in an exclusive interview, Jesy said: “We are very sensible with our money. We’ve all bought our mums houses and ourselves houses.”
And they don’t want to take on work just to live comfortably.
Jade explained: “We want to know that when we are working, we are doing it because we enjoy it, not because we have to. That’s the aim, really.”
The group will return with their new single Bounce Back next Friday but won’t be splashing out on celebrations for its release.
Perrie said: “We are very generous to our families but we have padlock pockets with ourselves.”
James knee-ded rest
JAMES Arthur cancelled his Teenage Cancer Trust gig in March due to anxiety and has revealed it all got too much after he suffered a knee injury.
He explained: “There was a lot of things going on at the time and I’d actually injured myself, I’m still dealing with a knee injury.
“Running was one of the really helpful ways to combat the anxiety and I wasn’t able to do that so I felt a little bit trapped at the time. Simple stuff like playing football, staying healthy and mindfulness helps.”
Speaking about his injury, the singer said: “It’s a thing I did a few years ago which I made considerably worse so I needed injections in my knees to reboot it. I hope this last treatment I had will fix it.”

Nick’s wife Priyanka Chopra wore a black number split to her thigh for the red carpet event in LA.
And Kevin’s wife Danielle wore a tassled outfit. The band’s new album, Happiness Begins, is out on Friday.

The pair spent a decade not talking to each other while Mel was married to Stephen Belafonte but began making contact again after divorce proceedings began two years ago.
A source said: “Mel loves having Danielle back in her life and she wanted to give her a special present.
“Danielle couldn’t believe her eyes when it arrived outside her mum’s house.”
Earnings from the current Spice Girls reunion – which hits Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light tomorrow – must be flooding in, along with the cash from their Walkers Crisps ad and Little Miss books.
