X Factor superstars Little Mix are on the hunt for the next hit band on their BBC series and Ireland is well represented with four singers through to the final stages.

Both bands blew the Little Mix judges away as well as viewers at home as they sailed through to the next round on last Saturday’s show.
Meath native Tamara told the Irish Sun: “We had so much fun with our performance this week.
“We were actually quite happy with how it went and we just gave it our all and the feedback was nice.
“So it was really good fun and we’re going to have a lot more fun this week.”
Matthew and his bandmates were first to perform on the show, and he explained that he felt the pressure of going on first.
The Louth lad revealed: “It was great, we were buzzing to play as a four for the first time. We were first on the night which is the toughest gig.
“It sets the tone not only for the other acts but also for the judges, Little Mix, they’re only getting comfortable in their own seats and their own head with what they’re going to do.
“We got to enjoy the rest of the acts obviously because we were first.
“It was a great night, it was really good.”
‘MORE FROM ME’
And Tamara said Nostalia will be taking the Little Mix girls’ comments on board going into their next performance.
Tamara explained: “We were quite happy with the critique that the judges gave.
“Obviously Perrie [Edwards] said that she wanted to see a little bit more from me so we’re definitely taking that on board as well.
“So this week is going to be a lot more fuller and we’re just excited to go off on the notes they gave us.”
Matthew said Since September will be “putting into action” everything singer Perrie said she wanted to see from them.
He said: “They said that felt emotional seeing us.
“They said that we made them feel like we’ve been together for a couple of years which, as an instrument band, it’s the best compliment you can get because sometimes the musical chemistry is the hardest thing to sort out so them saying that is a great compliment to us.
“Also Perrie gave us a line about what she wanted to see from us this week and we have taken that a 100 per cent and we are putting into action word for word what she wanted to see.
“There’s a bit of excitement this week not only to perform on the show but to impress, that wasn’t there last week.
“We are trying to show a different side to ourselves this week.”
Tamara and Matthew have been rehearsing since last week for their next slot on the stage.
Tamara explained: “We have literally been rehearsing non stop.
“It was like half 8 Sunday morning, we were back in the studio rehearsing again.
“We’re making sure that we’re perfecting everything that we’re doing this week.
“We want to execute our songs in the best way possible going forward so we want to make sure we have everything down to a t.”
And Matthew added: “We have been flat out rehearsing a lot more than last time as well. I think we have taken a different approach for this song.

“I think we’re going to shock a lot of people with this song, it’s still so us but we have taken any feedback and really taken it in our stride.
“We’re just trying to match all the other groups vocally as well and not just be an instrument groups.”
Little Mix: The Search continues on BBC One at 6.10pm on Saturday.
