IRISH Little Mix: The Search contestants Megan Whelan and Aisli Moran has said they’re going to come out fighting this weekend after their band was in the bottom two last weekend.

The two Dublin natives are part of Melladaze and they performed live for the first time last week.

Unfortunately, the band had a rocky start as they were in the bottom two but they survived and they plan on coming out this weekend stronger than ever,

Speaking about their first live performance Megan, 19, said to The Irish Sun: “Obviously it was very overwhelming.

“It was our first ever performance as a five so we were quite nervous.

“We were a bit shaky here and there but we have to give ourselves credit because it was our first ever performance and we’re just so excited to get into this weekend now.”

MELLADAZE ARE READY

Megan went on to explain that the entire group have a “fire in their bellies” and they are planning on coming out fighting this weekend.

She said: “Getting the criticism of Little Mix made us really really want this even more.

“Being in that bottom two obviously wasn’t the best situation but it really did make us work harder this week and it put a fire in our bellies.

“We’re just ready to prove to them that this is our week and we’re going to do this.”

Despite being in the bottom two Megan and Aisli said that they were happy with the feedback that Little Mix gave them and they have taken it on board for their performance this week.

Aisli explained: “I think we were definitely happy with the feedback that we got because we got stuff that we can definitely work on for this week.

‘EXCITED’

“We definitely have taken on board all of their comments and we’re really excited to show what we’ve got this week.”

Melladaze have been “flat out” rehearsing this week in preparation for the weekend as they try and perfect their dance moves and vocals.

Aisli explained: “We have been pretty much non stop working this week.

“We are really trying to push ourselves this week and we really want to make sure our dancing and singing and everything is up to par because we know that we’re a lot better than we did last week so we really want to show that and prove that we deserve to have a place.”

Megan agreed with this adding: “We’re flat out in rehearsals everyday and even when we get back to the house we’re still recapping on everything we did that day and going over all our harmonies.”

However, despite the long days of rehearsals the girls are enjoying every minute of it.

Aisli explained: “As much hard work it is it’s honestly great to do what you love every single day.

“So it is a lot of hard work but we honestly love it every day we just can’t wait to be getting in and working hard.”

Little Mix: The Search continues on BBC One at 6.10pm on Saturday.
