LITTLE Mix singer Perrie Edwards shared a heartbreaking New Year post.
The singer opened up on her secret battle with with ‘self doubt’ and ‘worry’ as she reflected on what was a turbulent 2023 for the world.
Perrie, 30, took to her Instagram story with a reassuring essay to her fans as they celebrated the new year.
She wrote: “Anyone else get this weird feeling come over them at New Year?
Like the feeling of self-doubt starts creeping in, or sudden thoughts of worry that you didn’t achieve enough this year float around in your head.
“I always feel it. It’s strange. Remember you’re enough. Just getting through the year is sometimes tough enough in itself.”
She added: “So give yourself credit.”
However, the former Little Mix star was determined to leave her message on a positive note.
“I’m so grateful that I have my family and my loved ones around me. We’re so blessed anf it can’t ever be taken for granted.
“A huge cloud hanging over us right now is the conflict happening in the world and it is heartbreaking to see, I really hope for more peace in 2024.”
This comes after her former bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 32, confirmed that the group will “definitely” reunite.
She spoke to me before she threw herself into life as a solo performer as she took to the stage at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball.
The singer exclusively told The Sun that it’s simply just a matter of time before the girls will team up again, especially after the reunion of smash-hit girl groups like Girls Aloud.
She explained: “We Definitely will. But I mean, we’ve literally been solo for like two seconds and the other guys haven’t even released yet, you know? So we have like time that we need to just be on our own. I guess.”
